and he tells me he’s allergic to having his picture taken

As my Jack gets older, it’s getting harder and harder to convince him to cooperate with me when I have the camera in my hand. I told him that for mother’s day, all I wanted was to take him out on a date and take some pictures. He told me he was allergic to having his picture taken. (Have I mentioned that he is a tad snarky and quite hilarious?) Nevertheless, with his daddy’s help, I managed to get exactly what I wanted for Mother’s Day. Can you guess which one’s my favorite?!

(The shirt he’s wearing here was a gift from his beloved and betrothed, Emmy, for his birthday. He loves it so much that he asks to wear it every day. Thank you, Emmy!!) 

On a side note, I am looking very forward to sharing more photos with you that are NOT of my precious child. I had two very different and very exciting sessions booked for this past Saturday, but both had to be rescheduled because of rain. While I am loving the lush, green, Forks-ish quality of my backyard, I am very much over this rain we’ve been having. I am ready to get outside and have some fun!
