It’s not every day that I get invited to a tea party – especially a tea party with a T-Rex!

About a month ago I had the pleasure of photographing this sweet family at their beautiful home. Jennifer, the mom of these three lovelies, was so patient with me in finding a date that would work with both of our schedules. When the big day finally came and I arrived to shoot, I was so excited by her creativity in setting up the sweet little vintage-inspired tea party. She thought of everything – feather boas, heirloom hats, a T-Rex for Luke and actual food to keep everyone happy! As a side note, those vintage hats belonged to Jennifer’s grandmother and grandfather and the tie sweet Luke has on is the same tie that Brian wore on his and Jennifer’s first outing to the symphony 16 years ago. Isn’t that awesome? I just love when clients incorporate items with such special meaning into their sessions!
Once we were tea-partied out, we moved on to some sibling and family shots. Just look at those eyes on Blythe, Ella and Luke – I (and my trusty friend Photoshop) had NOTHING to do with that. They really are that gorgeous shade of blue!

And I totally think Jennifer should moonlight as a Supermodel. Hello, gorgeous!

Jennifer & Brian, I am so happy that you asked me to capture your family just as you are, right now. It was my absolute pleasure and I hope you enjoy your sneak peek. I will be in touch about your disc soon!
{And on an completely unrelated note: It is my plan for this to be a rapid-fire sneak-peek week! I have several sessions, this one for starters, that I have been dying to share and that I know are highly anticipated by the people in the pictures – so please send me all of your “stay well” and “stay awake” vibes! I have much, much work to do this week!! Thanks everyone, for your support and encouragement – and for continuing to check in with me!}
