This is Emmy, my Jack’s best girl. {That’s him she’s holding on to.} She just turned 5 and has one of the most lovely spirits of anyone – adult or child – that I have ever known. Emmy has made many appearances here on the ol’ blog and I thought this image of her was perfect for this week’s Dramatic Black & White theme at i heart faces. To be completely honest, I had a really hard time deciding on an image to submit this week. There are so many ways to interpret the words dramatic, moody, mysterious. . .but this is my take on it, both the image itself and the edit.
Is there anything more dramatic – more mysterious – than the heart of a little girl? The heart of a some-day young woman?
