I had a super-fun shoot last night with a family that I love dearly. {That’s been happening a lot lately!} Unfortunately, I don’t get to see this particular family very often so I tried to really soak it in while I could! What a joy for me to watch them just be themselves and be in love with each other. What an honor to be let in to a family’s inner circle like that. It floors me every time.
I snapped this little goodie last night and it immediately struck me for lots of reasons. For one, I rarely back up on my subjects quite this much, so it’s something a little different for me stylistically. {Ummm, yeah – I think I am going to start doing it more often!} Also, there’s just something about this shot that’s so real and so genuine, so Family. And that makes this girl very happy.
I realize that it’s quite a large image. It will certainly require some scrolling on your part, but I just couldn’t bring myself to size it down further. I think I might have to blow this one up for my house if they don’t! Baird, Lisa, Brock, Bryson and Brooks – You are a joy! Keep your eyes peeled – There’s lots more on the way!!
