Sydney, Jack & Evy {and mom & dad, too}: a sneak peek

You still with me? Good! So, let me introduce you to Sydney, Jack and little miss Evy. Lord have mercy, can you stand it? These kids just ooze personality. I have said this a million times, but I just love watching the interaction  and love between siblings. And these three did not disappoint! I met up with the dynamic trio and their parents, Sarah and Ryan, a couple of weeks ago at a local park. We had a great time playing and hanging out by the creek. (Of course, I slipped and fell in the creek, but this should come as no surprise to anyone who knows me.) I am so blessed to continually have the opportunity to photograph such beautiful and sweet kids and these three definitely fit that description. Sarah and Ryan, thank you so much for asking me to capture your family. It was an honor!

Wait a minute – Did you think I was done? Well I’m not! After the park, I got to be a part of something extra super-duper special. In our talks about this shoot, Sarah told me that Jack is a competitive swimmer. And quite a good one, at that. It was her desire to capture that important part of his life – to honor his talent and celebrate something that he loves so much. So, when we were done with the official shoot, we headed over to the pool of a family friend to capture Jack in his element. And as great and cooperative as he had been while at the park, he truly came to life at the pool. It was so hard to narrow it down, but you can see just a few of my favorites below.
